As the days get longer and the snow starts to melt, we get that much closer to festival season! We're getting a glimpse into the line-up for this years much awaited festival, Spring Awakening and just how massive it's shaping up to be. Prepare yourselves because their phase one lineup was just the beginning and its already one amazing lineup.
Last week the announcement was made that Spring Awakening would be hosted once again by the Addams/Medill Park in Chicago Friday, June 8th through Sunday, June 10th. The lineup announcement however was what everyone had been waiting for. With lineup teasers keeping everyone guessing on social media, SAMF officially unveiled their lineup last week to eager festival-goers.
The Solstice and Equinox stages will showcase the biggest names SAMF has to offer. On the Solstice stage you'll find Afrojack, Borgore, Carnage, Dash Berlin, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Hardwell, Kaskade, Steve Aoki and Tiësto. Other artists on the Solstice stage include 3Lau, Getter, Sam Feldt, Seven Lions, Slander and Tritonal.
Meanwhile on the Equinox stage you'll have headliners, Alison Wonderland, Big Gigantic, Deadmau5, Flux Pavilion, Nghtmre, Tchami, Slushii, Zeds Dead and Virtual Self ( Porter Robinson's new alias). Rounding out the Equinox stage are Baauer, Black Tiger Sex Machine, Joyryde, Matoma and Minnesota.
SAMF will also continue the React coveted event series with special curated stages for festival goers to explore including the Trance Arena, Bass Kitchen and Requiem. All of which have a special unique sound all on their own. In addition to that SAMF will host stage takeovers from three diverse brands within the dance music community including Sunday School, Heldeep and DJ Mag which are sure to add a unique experience to fans.
