1. Write things down! Whether it's a reminder or an idea, write it down because during a busy time you will forget that thought.
2. Get an agenda. Agenda's are a great tool to help keep you organized. Make sure you update it every day and remind yourself to keep up with it so that you know what needs to get done every day. This goes hand in hand with number 1. Be sure to write everything down on your agenda. Even if you think it's small and insignificant. If you know you will forget it later then be sure to jot it down.
3. Keep in mind that life happens and not everything will go the way you planned it out to be. Be open to new changes and be prepared to switch your schedule around to accommodate these changes.
In the end, the wisest thing to do when you feel yourself debating on getting work done or bumming around is stop and remind yourself that doing what needs to get done will allow time for other things throughout the day. Procrastinating isn't helpful or good for you. Work towards the things that you need to accomplish. Use your time wisely and be productive. Don't get lazy, instead say goodbye to procrastination!
