How to Style: Bold Choker Necklace

Finally, we have some fall days that are actually feeling like fall temps! Don't get me wrong, I love summer, but at the end of September, I want to be able to wear my distressed denim and leather jackets.

Another piece that I love incorporating into my fall looks is a bold choker necklace. Chokers are a trend that are still going strong and can instantly make the perfect fashion statement. I was lucky enough to partner with The Styled Collection to style their Amazon Choker for you!

Below is my look featuring the Amazon Choker and tips on how you can style this must have accessory:

1. Pair with a High Neck. Since chokers typically hit high on the neck, wearing a top that has a high neck makes for the perfect look. It allows the choker to look like it is almost connected to the top.

2. Let the Choker Stand Out. Allow the choker necklace to be your statement piece, so keep all other jewelry minimal. You could add a simple ring or bracelet, but not both.

3. Play with Color. Most chokers are neutral metallics, so you can play with a variety of colors. With it being fall, I decided to contrast a mustard coat with a burgundy clutch.

4. Dress it Down. Bold jewelry doesn't need to be worn for just special occasions. You can, instead, dress it down with distressed denim for an everyday outfit.
