Tapping both Block 37’s experts and through social vote, one brand, designer, artist or creator will have the opportunity to win a FREE prime retail space during the busy holiday season, a crucial time for new designers, as well as $2,500 in prize money to help build out their space.

Not only is Block 37 the go-to for pop-up concepts that are open for a limited-time only, it’s also successful in providing sustainable opportunities. Bucketfeet, a Chicago-based footwear manufacturer that supports local artists, initially came to Block 37 in 2013 when the brand was in its initial launch. Two years later, Bucketfeet remains in Block 37, even though they have expanded sales globally. The prime space is known to host some of the city's most prominent events including Latino Fashion Week, Fashion Focus and tons of pop-up shops such as the Lollapalooza lifestyle pop-up during the summer festival.
“The Search for the Next Great Pop-Up is an amazing opportunity for an up-and-coming brand,” said Hannah Kardux, retail operations manager at Bucketfeet. “We started here as a two-week pop-up space about two years ago, and it’s truly elevated our presence as a Chicago fashion brand. I’m thrilled that Block 37 is continuing this competition for emerging designers as it provides unparalleled exposure to the larger community, especially during such a busy time for the retail industry.”
