2. Lincoln Park Zoo. If you're an animal lover then of course Lincoln Park Zoo is definitely for you. Not only is it constantly expanding and being revamped, it is also completely FREE. Pack a lunch and a blanket to spend a fun day at the zoo!
3. Chicago Botanic Garden. Do you enjoy nature? If you answered yes, then the Chicago Botanic Garden will have you in awe at the beauty of nature. Take a stroll alongside beautiful flowers and exquisite sights.

Chicago has plenty of free and inexpensive activities to do that will keep you busy. Have a picnic at the lakefront or rent some bikes and explore the city. Besides that, there are plenty of parks and pools all around the city. These are just a few suggestions. So, enjoy the summer while it lasts in Chicago and take time to enjoy life!
