Celebrate Earth Day with Kiehl's!

This Earth Day, you can support actresses Elizabeth Olsen and Maggie Q in their partnership with Kiehl’s Since 1851 to benefit Recycle Across America™ (or RAA).  Maggie and Elizabeth collaborated with artist/sculptor Fernando Mastrangelo to design a limited edition label depicting their vision of social responsibility to top Kiehl’s .95 oz Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocado.  Their tubs are sold for $47.00 and 100% of the net profits will be donated by Kiehls’ to RAA™ up to $50,000.  The funds will be used to create 65,000 standardized recycling labels to 650 K-12 schools in the US to encourage and simplify recycling.  They are available now and you can purchase your’s here.  This is the seventh annual Limited Edition Label Art Series for Earth Day that Kiehl’s has created in their commitment to the environment.

RAA™ is a revolutionary organization that focuses on stimulating the environmental economy.  By creating standardized recycling labels, the organization hopes to simplify the recycling process for everyone involved.  By addressing and eliminating public confusion around recycling and working as an agent for environmental progress, RAA™ has been able to collaborate with celebrities, reach national leaders and most importantly, make long-lasting changes to the way that we recycle.

Kiehl’s would like to remind their customers of their amazing Recycle and Be Rewarded!, in-store recycling program.  It allows for customers to return their empty Kiehl’s bottles, tubes and jars to be recycled.  Basically, customers earn 1 stamp per container they bring back and those stamps can later be redeemed for product.  It is a total win-win for customers and the environment.  Kiehl’s has recycled 2,500,000 bottles since 2009 and this is an ongoing commitment!  The program is available nationwide in all Kiehl’s free-standing stores.  Today, April 22nd, through April 26th, all Kiehl’s retail stores are offering 5 stamps for every one Kiehl’s empty container that is brought back.  On top of that, if you bring in an empty skincare jar or bottle from ANY brand, Kiehl’s will give you a deluxe skincare sample.  It sounds a lot like getting something for doing next to nothing, doesn’t it?

Additional incentives are being offered by Kiehl’s to help you celebrate Earth Day.  Starting today and running through April 26th at all locations, customers can experience 20- minute seated facials using Kiehl’s products.  During your facial, you will receive a full healthy skin check including a skin analysis utilizing their new Dehydration Analyzer tool.

Online and in-store, you can receive a complimentary Lip Balm #1 when you spend $65 or more while supplies last through April 27th.  When shopping online, use the code EARTHDAY to add Lip Balm #1 to your cart.  Once your total exceeds $65, the Lip Balm will be added at no charge.
