Black History Month at Macy's - Inspiring Discussions on Black Style during the Soul Era

In celebration of Black History Month, Macy's continues to set the standards for cultural and historical relevancy in the fashion retail world by inspiring discussion on culture and fashion influence. Going beyond just shopping, Macy's is bringing together June Ambrose and Johnetta Boone to examine the soul era and how it influenced black style, trends and designers who have made an impact on the fashion industry as we know it today.

Celebrity fashion stylists and designers June Ambrose and Johnetta Boone will lead a panel discussion on Soul Era style and take a look back at the fashion, accessories and attitude that rocked the runways of the ‘60s and ‘70s, which had an undeniable effect on the way people look and dress today. June and Johnetta will be visiting 8 stores nationwide and will stop by Chicago's very own Macy's on State this Thursday February 19th at 5:30PM.
