Some of these products I have also worked into my evening routine. This is something new (well not that new) that I've been trying to maintain over the last few months. The routine includes washing with the Cln Facial wash that is specially formulated for skin prone to acne, rosacea and eczema. It's gentle, yet really effective and leaves me feeling fresh without drying me out. Then, I have been exfoliating with the Korres kiwi scrub, moisturizing with Phytoceuticals serum and the Aubrey soothing serum, night creams and of course medicated spot treatment where needed. I'm noticing that when I give myself some TLC at night and take the time to take care of my skin, it really does wonders. My breakouts have become minimal and I'm really happy with the outcome.
When applying my night creams I go in order of density. The lighter stuff first, thicker stuff last. I've been using a fantastic vitamin b serum that has really made a difference in the overall texture of my skin. The night time anti-aging creams by Volante have made a huge difference in my under eye areas helping to depuff and lighten them. The product is one of the most potent anti-inflammatory skin regimes on the market that you don't need a prescription for.
I also highlighted some hair and grooming items that I've been trying out. Drug store products are always a go to for me. I am a firm believer you don't have to pay too much for good quality. Got2Be is one of those drug store products that are a great go to for quality and good pricing. As someone with thin hair, the struggle is real when it comes to getting some body and bounce into my mane. Got2Be Rise n Shine Body and Gloss Luminous Lift hair spray has been my go to the last two months. It gives my hair this beautiful shine and gives it a nice lift. The best part is that it doesn't give me that helmet head that some hairsprays do. Rather it allows for movement and feels and looks natural and not stiff.
I also have switched out my tweezers to a new pair from unikwax.com. These are a great pair of tweezers. I don't wax and I don't get my brows threaded, I tweeze them on my own. So, having a good pair of tweezers is a must have in my beauty kit. When looking for a good pair I want the following things: a nice sharp slanted tip that helps with shaping and can get into the tiny areas of eyebrows, slightly serrated tips help to grip hairs better, a nice comfortable length that allows for a good grip. Why a good grip? Well, your ability to maintain a good grip on a pair of tweezers, affects its function, the better grip the better you can tweeze with minimal pain. The UniKwax.com tweezers have all of these things and are a great go-to pair that is sure to last quite some time.
I also mention a great body cream by Rituals - It's their cherry blossom and rice cream. It's a thick luxurious cream that soaks in well and doesn't leave you feeling greasy! It's been a go to for my legs and arms. Then, my little bit of luxury comes in bar form from Krigler NYC. The Sparkling Diamond 22 soap is a fantastic smelling Shea butter soap that leaves my skin feeling wonderfully clean without drying it out.
