The Chicago-based marketing agency, Emmersion Media, works alongside non-profit organizations in order the help bring awareness to many important causes. Collaborations with these types of charitable organizations is not something new to this agency. For a long time, Emmersian Media has been assisting non-profit organizations to secure donations to go towards marketing and promotions through crowdfunding. So far, they have helped organizations secure almost $300,000. One of Emmersion Media's more recent collaborations is with a group called Avanse, a U.S. based 501 (c)(3) organization that is formerly known as Charity4Life.
Avanse is a Chicago-based group that works together with many Non-governmental Organizations (NGOs) in Latin America. Some of the countries that Avanse has worked with include Colombia, Haiti, and Nicaragua. The role of Avanse is to help these NGOs educate orphans and children living in the streets and also to teach them important life skills so that they will grow to become independent adults who can live a life off the streets.

At the moment, Avanse is trying to raise awareness for their work that is being done with the "Foundación d’Futuros Life Project" in Cali, Colombia, which is one of the most violent cities in the world. Columbia has over 500,000 orphans currently living in the country. Avanse hopes to raise enough money through international crowdfunding to create a marketing and informational campaign that will help bring the public’s attention to both this pressing matter and also to this wonderful project. "Foundación d’Futuros" is a local program in Cali that is supported by Avanse to help guide orphans and "street kids" from living a life in the streets. The Life Project helps the kids receive an education or learn a trade and eventually transition into living an independent life full of responsibility. After spreading the awareness, Avanse hopes to receive more public support on the work they are doing with the organization.
In order to achieve their long term goals, Avanse group’s first step is to raise a total of $7,500 to put together a 15-20 minute informational video that will show the current situation in the country and explain how others can help. They also plan to additionally produce four promotional videos. They plan to use the video in order to share the facts about this project and bring exposure to their cause.
From January 15 until March 15, Emmersion Media and Avanse will be accepting donations to go towards their marketing and promotions campaign which will help shine light on their cause. You can access the appeal and learn more about the project and how you can help by clicking here.
