Nordstrom + NYDJ Join the Fight Against Cancer

Did you know that September is National Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month?  There is that ugly word...  Cancer.  Whether it was our own personal battle or the battle of someone we know, Cancer seems to have touched us all at some point in time. But...  as with everything else in life, we continue to fight to get through another day in hopes that maybe in our lifetime we'll finally see a cure.  

If you are in the Chicagoland area this weekend, you can help join in that fight by stopping by Nordstrom between 12:00pm - 3:00pm in the Old Orchard Mall.

Nordstrom teamed up with NYDJ, the leading women's denim brand for women, to host a 'Perfect Fit' event, in which NYDJ will donate $1.00 to the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund (OCRF) for every customer that tries on a pair of jeans during this event.  OCRF is the largest and oldest charity in the United States funding ovarian cancer research who's mission is to fund scientific research that leads to more effective identification, treatment and ultimately a cure for ovarian cancer.  And what better way to help fund this mission than to do what most of us love to do.... shop for jeans while enjoying a light cocktail or two?!

Stop in to Nordstrom tomorrow for some styling tips from Designer Director of NYDJ, Deanna Herron.  Enjoy informal modeling of the Fall NYDJ denim collection and light refreshments, while shopping for the perfect fit and supporting the efforts of OCRF!
