Catching Up With Merrell Hollis: A Sneak Peek

Over the Summer, Halfstack Magazine attended The Makeup Show in Chicago.  The Makeup Show for those unfamiliar, is a 'PRO'-only event that travels all around the world where makeup artists, hairstylists, estheticians, cosmetologists  agents, models, stylists and anyone else in the beauty industry gather under one roof to network, learn, share trade secrets and even shop for the latest in beauty trends.  

This past June, Danielle Pulak of Halfstack, sat down with Merrell Hollis, makeup artist to the stars, to get the goods on his favorite and best beauty tips!  

.... What is the one beauty tip that you feel every woman should follow?

.... I feel that every woman should know how to correctly pick her own foundation, (all shades of it).  How to do their brows and how to do light makeup - e.g., a lipstick that looks good on your or an eyeshadow that compliments your eyes.  

Having worked with celebrities Wendy Williams, Usher and even Sean "Diddy" Combs, I'd say we'd be crazy not to take his advice to heart!  Check back on September 17th for the full interview with Hollis in the Fall issue of Halfstack!
